We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Manufacturing innovation and BC Manager, based in Engineering Center – Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. (E-Systems Division).
As Manufacturing Innovation Manager your objective will be: Develop and coordinate Manufacturing Innovation and I4.0 projects across all Lear ME&CA plants, identifying opportunity areas, new equipment, and conducting benchmarking to support business case development and productivity improvements. This includes quoting new equipment and systems as well as participating in Lear’s vertical integration in the harnesses and similar products sector.
Your tasks will be:
- Develop and manage a project implementation plan, determining its feasibility, investment cost, return, and impact on productivity, labor, quality, ergonomics, safety, and other operational parameters.
- Coordinate activities of Innovation Engineers and I4.0, overseeing both internal projects and developments with local and international integrators.
- Understand and communicate all critical/important customer and internal requirements to equipment integrators from suppliers. Establish direct communication with suppliers, tracking the progress of the equipment plan and providing weekly status reports.
- Deliver process equipment to production areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards, customer specifications, quality, low operational costs, and productivity.
- Coordinate internal/external training for personnel involved in equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide equipment manuals to maintenance and engineering teams with processes and products according to customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related field.
- 5+ Years on similar positions within the automotive wire harness industry.
- Project Coordination.
- Process and equipment knowledge
- Problem solving skills.
- Bilingual English level
