Job Description
Responsibilities
- Hands-on expertise with MRP/ERP preferred QAD (e.g., SAP/Oracle/Plex), EDI, kanban, and PFEP.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, MMOG/LE, APQP/PPAP, and basic customs/Incoterms concepts.
- Lead and develop teams across planning, purchasing (if in scope), warehousing, and logistics, production schedule attainment.
- Oversee cross-border logistics (MX–US), Incoterms, customs documentation, IMMEX/maquiladora compliance (with Trade/Customs).
- Achieve targets for inventory turns, DOH, cycle count accuracy, and obsolescence.
- Proficient in Materials Management Operating System (MOS)
- Expertise in Tier 1 OEM service parts fulfillment and regulatory compliance.
Skills
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Advanced English Level.
Experience Requirements
- Automotive industry experience preferred; cut-and-sew background is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) for supplier/customer interactions and cross-border coordination.
