Position overview: Maintenance and supervision of planned, actual and selling prices of finished products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Estimating internal costs on piece price and tooling for quotation purposes
  • Keep accurate material and finish good prices and standard cost in the system
  • Quarter and annual cost calculation for finish goods values
  • Tracking price and cost reserves (LTA, other price reserves)
  • Control of BOM and routings accuracy and its validation in the system
  • Month end close preparation in area of sales, costing and pricing
  • Tracking deviations in prices and material cost and finding root cause
  • Budget and forecast preparation support
  • Cost preparation for new projects quotation and current model year changes
  • Support operation team in topics of routings and BOMs - calculate savings and possible improvements
  • Validate VAVE savings calculations
  • Document control process in area of costing and pricing in line with Sox and company requirements
  • Monitor profitability impacts of cost and price changes

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of production process (BOM, routings, rules and procedures) preferably in wire harness production
  • Knowledge of QAD system will be considered as advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position (manufacturing engineering/CI/launch/controlling) in manufacturing industry
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Advanced English knowledge
