Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Trim department within our world class facility in Coventry. The Account Manager position is responsible for commercial ownership of trim programs for a luxury car maker and will be a key member of our commercial team.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage Sales Account with P&L responsibility via pricing maintenance and profitability ownership
  • Negotiate series projects and contracts with customer on Senior Management level.
  • Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion
  • Improve, monitor and track programme profitability (margin improvement) from award to SOP
  • Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics
  • Deliver Engineering change quotations inline with agreed customer timeline.
  • Negotiate Engineering change requests
  • Maintain internal reporting (Plant improvement plans, growth plans, APR’s, LPMP, etc.)
  • Support PAR approval’s.
  • Report out programme commercial status to senior level
  • Create strong link between trim plant and Lear BU/external customer

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within an Account Management role within Automotive
  • Knowledge of trim or other complex commodity
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
