Commercial Platform Leader

Lear Corporation are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager/ Commercial Platform Leader to join our sales leadership team within our E-Systems division. You will be based at our world class UK Headquarters in Coventry.
 

 

SCOPE OF THE POSITION

 

Responsible for the delivery of targeted sales and profitability vs forecast for a key division of EDS sales.

 

Managing a team of direct report Account Managers to deliver key program milestones on time and to forecast.  Acting as the first point of customer escalation between the program Account Managers and the Commercial Manager to align the growing UK sales structure more closely to that of the customer.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Responsibility to assure program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear hurdle rates and corporate timing commitments.
  • Drive the sales team to improve on time delivery of key financial agreement and customer contracts.
  • Working closely with the commercial manager to cascade sales strategy across multiple wiring programs.
  • Act as the first point of escalation with the customer and work to resolve open commercial disputes.
  • Management of direct report account managers ensuring conformance to standard process + procedure.
  • Protect the interests of Lear whilst managing customer expectations
  • Coordination and interface with global X-functional departments to achieve goals.
