Position Overview

 

We are looking for a dedicated IT Operations Systems Support Analyst to join our team, based at the Waterman Road production facility working on a 2-shift rotation.

 

Main Responsibilities :

 

  • Complete online daily checklist activities
  • Scorecard compliance activities including patching, antivirus and reboot schedules
  • Providing 1st/2nd line technical support & problem analysis, with Incident management via defined escalation
  • procedures where required to completion
  • Monitor Ivanti call logging system and resolve production tickets within agreed SLA (Ivanti)
  • Ensure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved in accordance with ISMS and Sarbanes
  • Oxley
  • Ensuring pro-active monitoring of systems using key performance indicators and dashboards (Nagios/Orion)
  • Ensuring performance and availability of all computer systems including hardware, networks, IT security and
  • telecommunications are maintained within the agreed SLA
  • Maintain Computer systems to current corporate standards for Windows10 / Windows Server 2019 Operating
  • Systems
  • Purchasing for all IT operations hardware/software requirements (Coupa)
  • Configuring all onsite hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, thin clients, industrial PCs
  • Deploying new hardware into production environment to agreed scheduled maintenance windows
  • New user onboarding
  • Monitoring all customer inbound orders and sequences messages
  • Maintaining in-house JIT application to support manufacturing requirements
  • Rollout and upkeep of networking infrastructure
  • Project management to ensure corporate deliverables are met within time and budget
  • Asset inventory management for hardware and software
  • Maintain production critical hot-swap equipment availability
  • Disaster recovery planning activities and failover testing practices
  • General administration and housekeeping of Operations stock room

 

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • 5 years work experience within an IT System Support Environment
  • 3 years work experience in JIT manufacturing/automotive support environment preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of IT technologies and best practices essential
  • Experienced in problem resolution for Windows servers & workstations
  • Competent with Windows Server OS | MS SQL Server | Windows OS | Microsoft Office
  • Cisco certification advantageous
  • VMware vSphere knowledge advantageous
  • Experienced IT professional with proven ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced JIT environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at all levels
  • Team player
  • Flexible to meet business requirements with occasional activities outside of core business hours
