Working for a large multinational automotive company based in Coventry, we are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Engineer eager to join a global automotive technology leader. The ideal candidate is passionate about industrial engineering and automation, with a strong interest in electronics and new technologies.
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for planning and managing product industrialization, ensuring process quality, capacity, and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support Operations, IT, Launch, and Maintenance teams across all three shifts in resolving Industrial Engineering–related issues.
• Ensure all required documentation (Line Balance Studies, Layouts, SWIs, PFMEAs, Process Flows, MOST) is completed in line with LPMP and PSW requirements.
• Lead production industrialization and line setup for new product launches, identifying and implementing new manufacturing technologies.
• Provide direction during the design and planning phases of new production lines, ensuring smooth industrialization and achievement of defined project milestones.
• Support innovation and technology evolution in manufacturing processes and equipment, delivering projects aligned with the Factory 4.0 strategy.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes through technical and cost-improvement studies in line with quality, customer, and Lear standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• University degree in Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive mindset with strong initiative.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Flexibility to work a three-shift rota when required.
