L&OD Lead (UK)
 
You will lead the UK Learning & Organisational Development strategy for the Seating division, ensuring learning initiatives build the capabilities needed to achieve business objectives. This role partners closely with senior leaders across multiple UK locations to develop talent, strengthen organisational capability, and maintain training compliance.
 
  • Lead the development and delivery of the UK learning and development strategy aligned to business goals and workforce capability needs.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify capability gaps and create targeted development solutions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to build talent pipelines, succession plans, and career development pathways.
  • Manage apprenticeship, graduate, and early careers programmes in line with business requirements and UK standards.
  • Ensure mandatory, statutory, and industry-specific training is delivered effectively and remains compliant with all requirements.
  • Develop and maintain competency frameworks, skills matrices, training records, and employee development plans.
  • Measure and improve learning effectiveness through KPIs, reporting, and continuous evaluation of business impact.
  • Design and deliver learning and change management interventions that support organisational transformation, engagement, and performance.

Experience Requirements

 

 

  • Experience in learning and development, talent management, or organisational development within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing learning strategies aligned to organisational objectives and workforce planning.
  • Strong experience partnering with senior leaders on succession planning, talent development, and organisational change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship programmes, competency management, training compliance, and learning governance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
