At Lear, talent is at the heart of what we do; an opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Coordinator to help us in our core objective of finding the best talent in the world to support our business.  Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be part of a team overseeing Talent Acquisition in 22 countries and over 90 locations. This role will initailly be on a 6 month contract basis.



As a Recruitment Coordinator focusing on coordinating contract recruitment activities, you will be a key point of contact for country stakeholders overseeing all contract hiring activities with our suppliers for the UK. Partnering with the Regional Manager you will also have the opportunity to work in direct recruitment across the UK.


Your tasks will be:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end contract recruitment process
  • Proactively searching for candidates, posting activity
  • Performing initial screening telephone interviews and arrange the appointments for the recruiter on site
  • Assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Reporting and dealing with the admin task related to the recruiting
  • Supporting other projects i.e. participate in job fairs and career events, employer branding and CSR activities
  • Other ad-hoc duties with recruitment and/or wider HR



To be successful in this role you will need:


  • Fluency in English
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritise
  • Good IT skills inc strong Excel
  • Ability to learn


Ideally the candidate will have:


  • Some recruiting experience - either in-house or agency
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate sourcing and screening and evaluation
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks 
  • Hunger and passion to work in Talent Acquisition
