We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to take full commercial ownership of key OEM accounts within the Seating division.
This is a hands-on role focused on managing both existing and new business, including RFQs, pricing, and customer relationships. The role involves taking over complex and evolving programs (including transfer of activities from North America) and building strong credibility with the customer over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the commercial management of customer programs (RFQs, pricing, claims, contracts)
• Act as the main customer interface (purchasing, engineering, program teams)
• Manage existing business and support new opportunities
• Lead negotiations and resolve commercial issues (pricing changes, claims, etc.)
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Develop cost models and quotations and manage internal approvals
• Ensure profitability and financial performance (P&L ownership)
• Work closely with internal teams (engineering, finance, operations)
Key Requirements
• Experience in automotive account management (Tier 1 preferred)
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Ability to take ownership of complex or partially structured business
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with OEM customers required
• Travel required to customer engineering and purchasing locations in Europe, as well as Lear manufacturing plants (e.g. Poland, Serbia, Tunisia)
