We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Quality Engineer (Customer Care), based in Green Valley Plant, Quimistan, Santa Barbara (E-Systems Division). 

As Quality Engineer will be execute quality procedures at quality engineering area to reaches quality goals and exceed customer expectations, reporting to the Quality Coordinator.

Your Task will be

  • Leadership administration with multifunctional team to address quality issues reported from customer.
  • Identify and document root cause and corrective actions on time for quality issues.
  • Execute 100% sorting process for quality issues. Quote/Sorting PO, pipeline protection report.
  • Material tracking during harness certification process to avoid delivery impacts or harness obsolete impacts.
  • Execute 100% RMA’s process to document finished goods disposition at customer and Lear’s warehouse.
  • Assure that multifunctional team is informed about quality issues.
  • Keep communication with quality residents and incoming quality at customer plants.
  • Ensure follow up and implementation of corrective actions determined with multifunctional team

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer or career to end.
  • 1+ year of experience in the Quality area.
  • Knowledge: 8Ds, 5 whys, customer's complaints, Ishikawa's diagram and Six Sigma, (Not essential).
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English).
  • Proven Analytical, Communications and Organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface across multiple organizations, product lines and levels in the organization.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible and/or changeable schedule, especially during the month end close process.
