WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER
DUNCAN, SOUTH CAROLINA – DUNCAN PLANT
As a member of the Operations team, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing material flow between the plant and warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting Just-In-Time (JIT) production requirements. This role oversees CKD shop floor operations, packaging processes, and personnel management to maintain efficient and compliant operations.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing STO’s (Stock transfer orders) between the plant and warehouse based on call off and requirements by the JIT.
- Overseeing material receiving and tracking in the SAP WMS system.
- Maintaining auditing stock and location accuracy in WMS.
- Managing complete CKD shop floor operations.
- Overseeing CKD packaging operation – SWI’s, packaging poke yoke’s, process flow and process control.
- Identifying current gaps, PFMEA’s and similar.
- Managing shop floor and scheduling.
- Managing and supporting monthly production planning.
- Overseeing CKD Quality.
- Supporting sales and customer management.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with SAP WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
- Strong understanding of CKD operations and JIT manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, process control, and lean manufacturing tools.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
