From 2023. company I.G.Bauerhin GmbH (IGB automotive), global supplier of thermal comfort systems, continues to work under name of Lear corporation. We are working on 3 sites in Inđija, Lazarevac and Lajkovac.

Position overview: Collaboration and participation in the processing and control of internal regulations on occupational safety as well as processing and control of corporate safety and health protection at work and fire protection. Support Health, Safety and Environmental organization, supporting EH&S continual improvement, adherence to Lear standards and best practices, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participates in the preparation of the Risk Assessment Act as well as general act regulating rights, obligations, and responsibilities in the field of occupational safety and health
• Tracks all legislation changes related to H&S and Fire protection, informs all interested parties and ensures their implementation on sites
• Actively participates in planning and providing safety equipment and ensuring safe and healthy work conditions
• Organizes preventive and periodical checking of environmental conditions and its compliance with legal requirements as well as checking electrical installations and equipment
• Organizes preventive and periodical medical checks for employees on positions with high risk
• Monitors and controls adherence to all health and safety measures and procedures
• Tracks all topics related to work injuries and professional diseases and determinates their root cause and defines measures for their elimination
• Immediately informs Labor Inspection and management in case of work injury and prepares all documentation required by law
• Responsible for training of new employees related to H&S during onboarding process
• Prohibits work at the workplace or the use of work equipment, in situation there is an immediate or potential danger to the life or health of the employee
• Assist in the development and implementation of site ergonomic assessment programme
• Cooperates with occupational medicine institutions
• Performs all tasks in the field of fire protection

Key skills and Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably in Health & Safety area
• Experience on similar position minimum 3 years, preferably within manufacturing company
• Experience in automotive company will be considered as advantage
• Good knowledge of Serbian legislation related to Health, Safety and Environmental protection
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 experience
• Organizational skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and accountability
• Target orientation
• Understanding of English
