EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Understanding of lock out tag out and all other industrial maintenance related safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC control repairs.
- Strong knowledge with all building utilities (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Building repairs, Air compressors, Cooling Towers, and Chillers).
- Strong knowledge in use of all shop power tools.
SKILLS
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with capability to document repairs and maintenance activities and communicate via email.
- Able to read and understand mechanical prints, and electrical schematics.
- Works well with others and shares knowledge with co-workers.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Knowledge in the use of forklifts and scissor lifts.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plc controls) on all machinery, and auxiliary equipment.
- Provide accurate feedback to maintenance supervisor of all equipment downtime root cause and provide corrective action for recurrent failures and or excessive downtime.
- Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on all machinery, and auxiliary equipment as determined by maintenance supervisor.
- Keep an accurate and organized log of all corrective and preventive maintenance work orders for proper record keeping.
- Inspect all machinery, and auxiliary equipment regularly to identify problems that can lead to safety issues or unplanned machine downtime and determine the necessary corrective action.

- Perform all maintenance shop duties to ensure proper compliance of 5s standards.
- Perform metal works fabrication and or repairs for all machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Collaborate with all internal departments to achieve common goals by aiding in resolving complex issues and or continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with any other maintenance related request given by maintenance supervisor and or maintenance manager.
- Follow all systems for TS16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
