QUALITY SYSTEMS – 1ST SHIFT
El PASO, TEXAS - PLANT
As a member of the El Paso Plant team, the Quality Systems Engineer will be responsible for brief summary of role.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Implementation and execution of Norm IATF 16949 to ensure that Quality Systems is properly established/executed.
- Good interaction with all departments for implementation and good execution of plant Quality System.
- Plan and execution of IATF Internal Audits.
- Coordination and verification of effectiveness of corrective actions implementation for IATF External and Internal Audits.
- External Audits coordination for IATF 16949.
- Comply with internal audits plan to ensure all processes are audited.
- Ensure implementation and follow up of LPA Audits.
- Customer specific requirements compliance with Multifunctional team.
- Ensure communication and execution of legal, corporate and divisional requirements.
- Support Internal/External management review meetings as needed.
- Follow up to AIAG requirements with Management team.

Your Qualifications (Minimum Qualifications):
- Minimum experience of 2 year in Automotive Industry in Quality Systems area.
- IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in implementation and monitoring of Quality Systems.
- Core Tools experience.
- IATF 16949 and Customer audits experience.
- Responsible of maintaining IATF 16949 Certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (able to read technical specifications)
- English must apply during business conversation.
- VDA 6.3 Certification desirable.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- APQP Process.
- PFMEA, CP, SPC and Data Analysis.
- IATF16949.
- CORE Tools
- Customer specific requirements for Automotive customers.
- Ability to read CAD drawings, geometric tolerances.
- Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bonus If You Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Molding
