Job Description

As a Platform Manager – EDS, you will lead the Göteborg Program Management function and serve as the primary customer contact for current and future automotive programs. You will drive flawless program execution, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of premium EDS products while achieving financial, quality, and timing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Göteborg EDS programs and maintain full accountability for program performance, customer satisfaction, and business results.
  • Manage new product introductions, vehicle launches, and model year changes to achieve quality, cost, engineering, and timing targets.
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary interface for Volvo, Geely, Lotus, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive program governance through timing plans, gateway reviews, status reporting, risk management, and recovery planning.
  • Own program financial performance, including profitability roadmaps, budgets, engineering revenue, tooling expenditure, cash flow, and cost targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Program Managers while aligning cross-functional teams around execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure successful APQP, PPAP, tooling, and manufacturing readiness activities to support flawless product launches and customer approvals.
  • Promote operational excellence by standardizing processes, enforcing LearPro utilization, supporting innovation initiatives, and driving robust design-on-time methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive program or project management, preferably within Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing people, and delivering complex vehicle launch programs.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive development processes, including APQP, PPAP, launch management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience managing program budgets, profitability targets, engineering revenue, tooling investments, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
