Sales Manager



Lear Corporation Gothenburg is looking for a Sales Manager to join our sales team within the E-Systems division. Position is based out of Eriksberg, Gothenburg at our Swedish headquarters. The customer interface is international and may require travel. Fluency in Swedish and English is preferred.




The Sales Manager is responsible for the commercial relationship of a luxury car maker and will manage the strategic direction of the business. Ownership of sales growth and protection of the bottom line is in a broad sense the essence of the role. The manager will take part in a larger sales team and report to regional management. Initially, no direct reports will be a part of the position.




  • Manage the customer interface through new business growth and profitable change management
  • Negotiate series projects and contracts with customer on senior management level
  • Close commercial issues timely while maintaining customer interface
  • Improve, monitor, and track program profitability (margin improvement) from award to SOP
  • Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics
  • Deliver & negotiate engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline
  • Maintain internal reporting (Plant improvement plans, growth plans, APR’s, LPMP, etc.)
  • Support project launch approvals
  • Report program commercial status to senior level
  • Create strong link between plant and commercial team
  • Support and grow your knowledge for finance, planning and commercial tactics
  • On the job training to enhance customer service
  • Serve internal as well as external relationships
  • Protect the interests of Lear whilst managing customer expectations
