About the role
As a Senior Account Manager based in our office in Sweden, you will work with the sales team to manage and develop a long-term and mutually beneficial business relationship with a leading automotive manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of commercial activities
- Order accuracy and control
- Change management costs
- Implementation of changes and logistical support
- Ensuring and maintaining records of capital investment, tools and unit cost recovery
- Ongoing business negotiations with customers
- Lead VA/VE activities to align with profitability budgets
- Collaborate with other Account Managers to ensure common business standards and practices
- Development and maintenance of the calculation database
- Monthly sales forecasts
- Support of new business opportunities
- Compilation and analysis of purchasing data
- Ownership of customer interests
- Update and report in internal data systems
- Cooperate with Account Managers
- Day-to-day management of commercial activities within the existing Electronics program
- Working with various teams worldwide to support customer’s requirements and meet internal business expectations
- Day-to-day communication with the customer including visits to their various operational locations in Sweden and globally
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams and customers
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent spoken and written English
