About the Role

 

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing long-term business relationships with a major automotive manufacturer. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth commercial operations, support new business opportunities, and drive profitability.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Manage day-to-day commercial activities and ensure smooth business operations.

• Oversee order accuracy, change management costs, and implementation of logistical changes.

• Maintain records of capital investment, tools, and unit cost recovery.

• Lead value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) activities to align with profitability goals.

• Collaborate with other Account Managers to maintain common business standards and best practices.

• Develop and maintain the calculation database and provide monthly sales forecasts.

• Support new business opportunities by compiling and analyzing purchasing data.

• Act as the primary customer interface, handling day-to-day communication and visiting their operational locations in Sweden and globally.

• Work closely with global teams to meet customer requirements and business expectations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and customers.

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.

• Fluent spoken and written English (Swedish or other languages are a plus).

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
