JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Functions
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times.
- Perform maintenance technician skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, machinery assembly drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose process and machinery problems utilizing root cause failure analysis techniques, replace or repair equipment parts, test and adjust as required.
- Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, basic shop machinery, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Required Education and General Maintenance Experience
High School Diploma/GED or Matriculation and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
Minimum/Enrolled in 2-year Associates Degree/Technical College Accreditation- Industrial Mech/Elec/Automation
3+ years of maintenance technician experience with strong analysis and repair skills in electrical ac/dc systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical applications, power transmission systems, fluid mechanics/properties, tubing and hosing applications, operation of mobile equipment, and machine safeguarding.

PLC and ladder logic design/troubleshooting
Robots teach point and programming code understanding
