HR Manager

HR Manager – Győr Plant

 

Lear Corporation as a Fortune of 500 companies with world-class products designed, engineered and manufactured is currently seeking for experienced, well organized and motivated candidates for the HR Manager Position in Győr Plant in Hungary.

 

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

  • To manage the HR Department
  • Work in conjunction with the Plant Manager / Operation Manager and Department Managers to implement HR programs and activities in a manner that promotes open and direct communication between the Company and the employees.
  • Maintain the integrity of Company Policies and Procedures to ensure consistency and fairness and compliance to all statutory legal requirements.

 

SCOPE OF THE POSITION

 

  • Reporting to the Country HR Manager in Hungary
  • Responsibility for the local HR Team

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and implement all HR Policies and Procedures using employment law and best practice.
  • Monitor absenteeism and turnover of employees & implement programs to help reduce it; work with occupational health following company procedures.
  • Manage the Employee Engagement Program
  • Ensure all payroll actions are completed on time and control correctness of payroll data.
  • Control and monitor headcount ensuring that it remains within target.  Ensure that correct procedures are followed in line with increasing headcount or efficiency improvement actions.
  • Ensure that the objectives are implemented within set timelines and costs.
  • Take full responsibility for the training and development of staff and optimize employee involvement and motivation.
  • Practical knowledge of the Labor Code
  • Responsible employee relations and keep effective communication with union
  • Responsible for input into other HR projects on an ad hoc basis as and where necessary.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related fields of study
  • At least 5 years of HR experience in an international fast-paced production environment
  • At least 3 years of HR leadership experience
  • Knowledgeable in all payroll procedures
  • Seasoned leader with a professional and confident approach
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communicator at all levels
