Key Responsibilities:

You will be the member of the European Seating Division Finance Team leading the financial activities of new manufacturing location in Kecskemet, Hungary.

That means that in details you will:

• Prepare timely the financial forecasts / budget and month-end reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Act as the key finance business partner to plant management and business group finance organization by delivering of timely and meaningful financial support, reports and analysis which can be used for operational and tactical decision-making.
• Liaise and lead certain processes with the GBS Accounting Teams and with the Intercompany parties.
• Contribute to preparation of regulatory reporting through cooperation with Country Finance and Tax Teams.
• Ensure the strong financial control, compliance of data and processes with Lear internal control, reporting and accounting procedures.
• Work with internal and external auditors.
• Deliver continual improvements in financial processes.

Desired outcomes:

• Establish (with the strong support of Lear finance organization) the financial processes in new manufacturing location.
• Build the best-of-class local finance team.
• Create solid relationships and bridges with Lear organization (Hungary, Europe).
• Provide the drive and solid assistance to financial systems implementation.

Job content:

• Forecasting / Budgeting – 25%
• Month close activities – 25%
• Compliance / Internal control – 20%
• General financial controlling, ad hoc analysis, tasks, projects – 30%

Experience required:

• University degree and at least 4 years of related experience in controlling or reporting position, ideally in manufacturing environment.
• Accounting knowledge and experience in preparation of financial statements. Knowledge of USGAAP will be an asset.
• Very good Excel skills. SAP knowledge will be the strong plus. HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) application will be further advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Hungarian and English.
• Proficient analytical skills, ability to synthesize the data.
• Reliability in meeting the committed timetable.
