With over 650 employees, the Lear headquarters in Oberding-Schwaig is the centre of excellence for automotive seat development in Europe. Our headquarters are located in the immediate vicinity of Munich Airport and thus offer first-class conditions for international co-operation. In addition to the sales and engineering teams, central functions such as purchasing, finance, legal and human resources are as well located here.
Account Manager (m/f/d)
In your role as Account Manager you identify sales opportunities, support the Key Account Managers in your team and are the voice of the customer at Lear.
Key Tasks:
- Build, develop and assure a trusted relationship with the customer
- Preparation and negotiation of product offers and customer change requests
- Development of offer strategies to fulfill the project goals / monitoring of the project result
- Constructive cooperation with the project team (development, purchasing, operations and program management)
- Support strong link between plant, business unit and external customer
- Support of the Key Account Manager in the creation of a customer roadmap and administrative tasks (price maintenance, after sales, customer portal and system management)
- Internal reporting and competition monitoring and analysis
Key Requirements:
- Business or technical background, ideally university degree
- First professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in purchasing, sales, program management or in the development department of an automotive supplier or OEM
- Due to the international orientation of the company, business fluent English and French skills are required
- Ability to work in a team and communication skills in an international environment
- Economic thinking and customer orientation
- Negotiation skills and independent working style
