Position: Permanent
Location: Sunderland
Reports To: Site Operations Manager
Team: Facility & Production Maintenance team (~8 members)
Working Conditions: Day Shift

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Maintenance team, ensuring proactive and reactive support for all equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage plant maintenance budgets and deliver annual KPI/process improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Fire standards.
• Drive operational effectiveness (zero downtime, improved MTBF, reduced total hours lost).
• Support Apprenticeship Program, training, succession planning, and diversity initiatives.
• Implement best practice policies, procedures, and continuous improvement (TIC, IDEA, TWW).
• Deliver projects within CAPEX budget.
• Support product/program launches with zero disruption and on budget.


Requirements
• Proven leadership experience in maintenance/engineering function.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, KPI management, and continuous improvement methods.
• Ability to manage budgets, projects, and drive operational excellence.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and compliance.
• Skilled in mentoring, coaching, and developing technical teams.
• Experience with innovation, modern manufacturing principles, and process improvement.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Chemical industry experience is a plus.
