Position overview:

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Molding Engineer, our future Industrialization Engineer will have as main mission to Bring a completely industrialized process to manufacturing. Make permanent process improvements to manufacturing. Ensure the availability of industrial data, and comply with local procedures.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Industrialization of the new tools (molds):

  • Perform Moldflow Analysis and DFM activities and analyze results with the part designer for design improvement.
  • Prepare RFQ for new projects.
  • Participate in PFMEA meetings and analyze preventive actions to be taken.
  • Follow up new projects with tool supplier from kick-off to final validation of the tool in the production plant:
    • Analyze and approve DFM received from the Supplier.
    • Analyze and approve Moldflow Analysis received from the supplier.
    • Check and review the Bill of Material and the 3D of the tool design using CAD.
    • Follow up validation tests.
    • Follow the dimensional report analysis.
    • Manage final tool approval for SOP.

 

Introduction of new programs to serial life & Stabilization of serial production :

 

  • Participate in new programs in the development of Molding processes (Assignment of tools, Definition of material flow and operators....)
  • Receive technical documentation.
  • Creation of pre-series parts,
  • Present technical expertise.
  • Guide the equipment supplier in establishing the technical file.
  • Ensure receipt of new tools and new equipment and peripherals
  • Validate new tools and equipments.
  • Work in close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance departments to ensure service with optimal and efficient results.
  • Ensure the implementation of Productivity Plans.
  • Ensure the production of technical sheets and industrial files.
  • Ensure the development of Ranges, nomenclatures, and operating methods.
  • Participate in technical meetings with other departments
  • Implement engineering changes,
  • Ensure the smooth running of the various Audits (Internal, External, etc.)
  • Maintain a cordial and positive attitude and approach towards the desired objectives.

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Engineer degree: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Plastic & Industrial Processes
  • 2 years minimum in the same function within injection molding
  • Good communication skills and listening skills
  • Spirit of analysis and synthesis
  • Availability
  • Spirit of continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
