As Methods Engineer, you will be responsible to coordinate and execute engineering activities to generate technical information at plant level, to ensure that work methods, equipment and tooling are ready for faultless execution, in terms of quality, delivery and cost from the planning stages, launch and engineering changes.

 

YOUR TASK WILL BE

  • Execute and coordinate activities, based on the plan developed by the Car leader, to achieve the objectives of the program in each construction phase.
  • Develop appropriate methods, work instructions and visual aids for the manufacturing method, to ensure quality, output, and efficiency of the production system.
  • Responsible for the design of the manufacturing system, to ensure the quality, output and efficiency for each harness family, in the assigned program.
  • Execute all activities related to launching new programs, and the implementation of engineering changes.
  • Analyze engineering change proposals, and based on these, reports the impact on equipment and tooling to the Car leader, and product engineering.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, or related area.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Harness Experience.
  • Intermediate English Level.
