We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Senior Buyer, based in Cd Juarez, Chih. 

As Senior Buyer will have an excellent opportunity to work in an International and growing environment reporting directly to a Purchasing Manager.

  

Your tasks will be:

  • Ensure adherence on procedures, policies, regulations, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Management of a group of buyers of various categories for the North America region.
  • Develop short- and long-term category strategies to meet KPI’s related to his/her categories.
  • Implement strategies to reduce the requisitions turnaround time.
  • Meet savings targets for the categories under his/her responsibilities.
  • Negotiate the most favorable agreement and prepare documentation for agreements in accordance with law to protect company interests.
  • Lead and be a solve problem for the key suppliers under his/her scope and buyers in charge

To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have

  • Education in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or any related field.
  • Computer package management.
  • 2 years minimum of experience in automotive Manufacturing.
  • 3 years minimum of experience in a Purchasing Function.
  • Experience in Non-Productive Purchases.
  • Experience in KPI savings and multi-plant projects.
  • Contracts negotiation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • English Advanced level.
  • Good customer service.
