We are establishing a new greenfield seating manufacturing plant and are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to support plant start-up and lead daily operations.

This role is responsible for building teams, implementing production processes, and ensuring operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost from day one.

 
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Production & Operations

  • Lead daily production activities across seating production processes
  • Ensure achievement of production targets (SQCDP)
  • Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap, downtime, and productivity
  • Support line balancing, capacity planning, and ramp-up activities
  • Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics

 

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop production operators and team leaders
  • Conduct shift meeting and performance reviews
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Manage attendance, workforce planning, and performance issues

 

Greenfield & Start-Up Activities

  • Implement SOPs and standardized work instructions
  • Participate in layout optimization and process stabilization
  • Contribute to building plant culture and operational standards

 

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to customer and regulatory requirements
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support internal and external audits

 

Safety

  • Promote a strong safety culture
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety observations
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS standards

 

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Automotive or seating industry experience is an advantage
  • Experience in start-up/greenfield projects preferred
  • Strong people leadership and team development
  • Results-driven with high accountability
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
