SUMMARY

Metal Fabricator / Welder

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Fabricators are manufacturers of assorted products using various raw materials, tools and their own hands. Their primary responsibilities include reading and understanding assembly instructions, ensuring that the required parts are present and meeting quality control standards.

A Metal Fabricator prepares, fabricates and welds various metal constructions, components and structures. Metal Fabricators work from patterns and blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components. Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications. Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment’s. Administer all welding activities such as riveting and welding small parts and finished products Welded metal parts together, using both gas welding and brazing, or any combination of arc welding processes. Designed and produced sheet metal items. Performed related tasks, such as thermal cutting and grinding. ... Positioned and clamped together components of fabricated metal products

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Welding certification
• Two -Five years’ experience welding 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Work in various weather condition hot / cold inside or outside

• Able to lift at least 30 lbs.

• Wear hearing protection
• Wear steel toe shoes
• Work in tight area inside of Jets
