Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operators under your supervision.
- Ensure discipline and rigor.
- Maintain the 5S system.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Adapt the team configuration to the production schedule.
- Assign team members based on their qualifications and the nature of the workload.
- Hold daily 5-minute meetings with team members.
- Ensure compliance with start-up procedures and self-inspections.
- Ensure the completion of planned programs in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines.
- Monitor the team's performance in terms of quality, productivity, and waste rate.
- Contribute to maintaining the proper functioning of the machinery.
- Keep the team members' skills matrix up to date.
- Encourage and promote improvement suggestions. - Ensure that hazardous products used in our plant are identified and handled correctly.
- Ensure that delivery, identification, and storage procedures for hazardous products comply with legal requirements.
- Monitor quality indicators such as IPPM and DPPM.
- Ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to the precautions and methods for handling and storing these products.
- Comply with hygiene and safety regulations according to ISO 45001.
- Support the activities of the ISO 14001 environmental management system.
Key skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Skills in quality control.
- Intermediate level in both English & French languages, spoken and written
