Position Overview

 

As a data analyst you will be engaged with various departments to understand their business needs and challenges. Based on these insights, you will conduct research and propose data-driven solutions whether through data pipelines, dashboards, or fully dynamic applications. You will be responsible for developing solutions within the agreed scope and delivering them on time and in full. This role requires strong communication skills and an outward mindset, enabling you to proactively suggest features that streamline digital processes, identify quick wins, and promptly escalate any issues as they arise.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Engage in multiple projects at various stages - starting from initial problem definition or providing support during execution.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks, managing sprints and backlog tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand project and product delivery phases and provide expert analysis throughout the lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the discovery phase as a full-stack development expert, identifying technical challenges and proposing effective solutions.
  • Build mock-ups, demos, and solution skeletons to validate concepts early in the process.
  • Support ETL/ELT processes and perform data mining to prepare meaningful datasets for application development.
  • Analyse data to generate statistical insights, trends, and patterns for informed decision-making.
  • Build robust data pipelines using Python/PySpark or low-code tools (Pipeline builder), ensuring optimal configurations for performance and scalability (transaction types, write mode, computation profiles, projections etc.)
  • Design and implement relational data models and ontology objects.
  • Create dynamic, executable actions for end-users using TypeScript, SDKs, and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure efficient storage, computation profiles, and cost management from development through deployment.
  • Develop user-friendly, dynamic interfaces using Contour, Workshop and other relevant Foundry tools.
  • Utilize APIs and Webhooks to enhance solutions with advanced features.
  • Apply AI technologies (LLMs, chatbots, RAG) and develop ML models to automate processes and improve business efficiency.
  • Maintain clear, structured documentation for knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
  • Work collaboratively, understanding the broader impact of individual contributions on team goals.
  • Stay updated on tool upgrades and emerging technologies, demonstrating a strong desire for professional growth.

 

 

 

Key Skills And Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience with Palantir Foundry (preferred) or similar big data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Expertise in data processing engines - Apache Spark preferred.
  • Skilled in transactional data transformation (snapshot, incrementality, CDC, update etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python/PySpark for dataset transformation.
  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for UI development.
  • Solid understanding of AI foundations, especially LLMs and RAG.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based computing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage tight deadlines.
  • Intermediate to expert experience in RDBMS and relational data modeling (1-1, 1-*, - relationships; star and galaxy schemas).
  • Proficient in SQL (i.a. joins, window functions).
  • Experience with ETL processes and data manipulation.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on driving business improvements.
  • Data mining expertise and ability to clean corrupted data and fix coding errors.
  • Statistical knowledge for trend and pattern analysis.
  • Intermediate to expert experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik.
  • Understanding of data warehouse and data lake concepts.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

 

 

Preferred : 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Palantir Foundry.
  • Familiarity with data processing libraries such as Pandas and Polars.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
  • Intermediate experience in React-based UI development.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning, including building custom ML models using common algorithms (e.g., linear regression, decision trees, random forests, logistic regression).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems, preferably in data & digitization or software development.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Python programming and/or TypeScript.
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or automotive support environment (preferred).
