Position Overview:

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer is responsible for overseeing and driving the continuous improvement process within the facility by collaborating with all departments to enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Main Missions :

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the business sector to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Optimize production processes through systematic improvements and innovative solutions.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities, identifying and implementing opportunities for enhancement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and new initiatives across the organization.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, LPA, and Kaizen methodologies to maintain operational excellence.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, aligned with the role's scope.
• Oversee the continuous improvement process, including monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions.
• Uphold compliance with environmental, health, and safety management systems, as well as IATF standards established within the organization.

To be successful for this role :

• Engineering degree in industrial engineering or similar
• Strong organizational skills
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
•  Mastery of Kaizen, 5S and LPA tool
• Good knowledge of the requirements of the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of in Office tools (Excel) 
• Good analytical vision.

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in both French and English
