Position overview:

 

Our future Maintenance Engineer will ensures machinery, equipment, and facilities operate smoothly and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and overseeing all maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, executing repairs, maintaining detailed maintenance records, and implementing strategies to improve equipment reliability and safety in industries like manufacturing, energy, and healthcare. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, respond to breakdowns, and repair or replace worn parts to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies and protocols to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow strict health and safety standards during all maintenance operations.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and engineers to ensure smooth operations.

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Technical university degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in the automotive industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for team coordination and documentation.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in English and French, spoken and written.
