Lear is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its second plant and first Greenfield manufacturing facility in Bizerte, Tunisia, part of our Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Lear’s growth and ongoing commitment to innovation. We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking talents to take on the challenge of launching and shaping this new plant from the ground up. Position overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, and repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance strategies, procedures, and protocols to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance operations.
• Leadership & Supervision: Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure smooth operations and high performance.

Key skills and Qualifications:

• Technical university degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership skills for team coordination and reporting.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
