Lear is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its second plant and first Greenfield manufacturing facility in Bizerte, Tunisia, part of our Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Lear’s growth and ongoing commitment to innovation. We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking talents to take on the challenge of launching and shaping this new plant from the ground up. Position overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements.
• Review MRP data and validate purchasing decisions, providing recommendations to management.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and resolve delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and lot sizes to maintain optimal stock.
• Track and report supplier performance, delays, and complaints.
• Prepare weekly backlog and open-order analysis reports; develop action plans to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Import/Export teams to ensure timely material flow and resolve logistics issues.
• Support new product launches and engineering changes to meet JIT requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce dead stock and optimize surplus management.
• Promote teamwork, provide training, and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

To be successful for this role :

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning or a similar role (automotive industry preferred).
• Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in both French and English is required
