Responsibilities
Our future process engineer will be responsible for setting and optimizing the process flow in the plant. Designing and managing the Manufacturing of tooling and improve continuously the process and equipment.
Job Description
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to):
- Define, install and release Manufacturing processes and ensure their their PFMEA analysis
- Comply with schedule of production line transfers and new project lauching plannings
- Lead and implement engineering changes, with minimal investment and a drive for zero obsolescence
- Ensure effective process planning with the goal to maximize resource utilization
- Update and maintain standard work instructions (SWI)
- Conduct method and time studies as a tool to optimize resource planning
- Review and manage Process FMEA using APiS software
- Assume responsibility for the receipt and accurate control of patterns and/or CAD data
- Manage machine sofwares and production and testing programs
- Where needed, ensure cutting dies are manufactured according to customer specifications and/or CAD data
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure adherence to latest engineering revision levels
- Update and maintain plant layout drawings using AutoCAD
- Comply with all relevant Lear procedures and policies
To be a success in this role you must have:
- Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or any equivalent qualification)
- 3 to 5 years working experience in the automotive industry
- Good Communications Skills
- Solid Experience in PFMEA analysis
- A good experience in the utilization MS Office package, AUTOCAD.
- Good communication skills in both French and English is required
