Position Overview:

As a member of the Operations team, the Production Supervisor (UAP Responsible) will be responsiblefor Supervision of manufacturing personnel and operation, assuring that quality, safety, productivity, schedule, anddelivery goals are met daily.The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Production Manager.

Main Missions :

• Estimate costs and prepare budgets
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
• Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions
• Plan a production schedule
• Implement improvements to the production process
• Prepare production reports

To be successful for this role :

• University Degree
• Experience in the automotive Industry ( More than 8 years )
• Experience in a similar position is required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Experience managing teams, including onboarding, training and performance management
• Good knowledge of tools of lean manufacturing
• Experience using SAP software, project management tools and MS Office

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in both French and English
