Position overview:

As a Program Buyer, you will support the program purchasing team in implementing the purchasing strategy into the product development process. The goal is to make existing projects more profitable and win new business through competitive materials and suppliers.

Main Missions :

• Supporting the timely submission of supplier quotations and ensuring continuity of the supply chain for awarded business and projects in the RFQ process
• Reviewing bills of materials (BOM) and consulting with the technical department when changes are needed, e.g., due to supplier changes
• Regular participation in project meetings as a purchasing representative in cross-functional teams: Program Management, Engineering, Sales, Production Plants, etc.
• Coordinating various departments within the company in consultation with the project purchasing lead, with a focus on purchasing activities
• Supporting benchmarking and negotiation of new materials for new projects
• Maintaining purchasing systems for directed source.

To be successful for this role :

• University degree 
• At least 1 year of professional experience
• Experience in logistics/supply chain management is an advantage
• Goal-oriented and structured working style
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in both French and English is required
