Lear is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its second plant and first Greenfield manufacturing facility in Bizerte, Tunisia, part of our Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Lear’s growth and ongoing commitment to innovation. We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking talents to take on the challenge of launching and shaping this new plant from the ground up. The Bizerte plant will be at the forefront of thermal comfort innovation, producing advanced technologies that enhance vehicle performance, sustainability, and passenger comfort.

Position Overview :

Main Missions:

• Manage the direct material production supply base for assigned plants and categories.
• Address and resolve supplier-related operational issues in an effective and timely manner.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement cost‑saving initiatives; negotiate optimal pricing conditions with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to investigate new suppliers and benchmark the current supply base, ensuring the best partners are selected.
• Communicate plant and product requirements efficiently across stakeholders.
• Prepare, monitor, and propose PPV budgets and related savings activities.
• Perform regular PPV and KPI reporting, ensuring targets and expectations are met.
• Lead or support cost‑reduction projects and contribute to Lean/VAVE initiatives.
• Execute purchasing and administrative activities within ERP systems.
• Manage local categories strategically, including supplier selection, negotiations, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

To be a success in this role you must have:

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing environment; experience in commodity/Project buying is highly valued.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office and solid overall computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.

Language Skills:

• Good communication skills in both French and English is required
