General description of the job:

Ensure that whole Foam area is working as one body. Manages whole Foam Engineering, Maintenance and Production and logistics team with focuse to fulfill all KPIs. Ensures FOAM production processes are running smoothly according JIT and customers demand. Ensures that all technical equipment is all the time prepared for serial process. Manages changes in the processes with focuse to minimalise risks during Foaming process. Manages lentire Foam team to achieve internal defined goals. Ensure suitability, efficiency and effectiveness of plant equipment through implementation of the best practices, whilst ensuring adherence to all quality related standards and customer requirements with compliance to relevant H&S, EMS procedures.

Main responsibilities:

• Establish and coordinate the engineering, maintenance and production functions in accordance with Lear policies known business practices.
• Administer the engineering, maintenance, production and logistics department for assuring growth, development, customer service, quality control, profitability, safety, improvement, and operating-cost reduction.
• Research, analyze, and monitor the technological factors that may affect the present and future needs of the business and operations.
• Effectively manage the Department, within budget, ensuring that all aims and objectives are met.
• Work with the Launch team on the introduction of new products and current product changes.
• Ensure that plant is using relevant and valid information about FOAM product.
• Manages full run of the Foam production in the Tachov plan with full responsibility of production planning
• Identify and recommend new equipment for maintenance/production purposes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Liaise with internal and external customers ensuring full understanding of all engineering, production and design issues.
• Responsible for the implementation of adequate systems for Quality, OEE, Process downtime, Process improvement, Housekeeping, Productivity, RFT monitoring and feedback and that the processes by which these are communicated and improved upon are in place and reviewed for their suitability.

Requirements:

• Ideally at least 5 years+ expereince on similar position in foaming industry
• Foam process and product deep technical knowledge
• Foam chemicals knowledge
• Active knowledge of english
• Previous managerial experience - ability to lead and motivate team
