About Us
Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe.
The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components.
The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Creation of 3D models (Siemens NX/CATIA V5)
- Preparation of 2D drawings
- DMU checks
- PLM and data management
- Concept design and packaging studies
- Legal & Comfort checks
Key Requirements
- English Language, written and spoken
- University degree in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline
- CAD design background (CATIA V5 or Siemens NX)
- Technical understanding
- Good communication skills
