A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Logistics Manager to join our New Plant Leadership Team in Plavecky Stvrtok (near Bratislava region). Our plant is a green field JIT Complete Seat Assembly facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will have full responsibility of managing the logistics & materials function, coordinating the efforts of production control, transportation and delivery performance to premium European OEM customer groups.

Job Description

• Managing the full operational cycle of logistics in the plant
• Building, supervising and leading team, develop internal talents
• Launching new projects in line with corporate standards with operational excellence
• Develop, maintain, and negotiate cost effective freight solutions
• Improve and develop supplier delivery performance
• Premium Freight Cost reduction activities
• Monitor and coordinate the parcel transport as well as ad hoc transportations and deliveries.

To be a success in this role you must have:

• Successfully completed University studies, preferably with a focus on logistics or Supply Chain or similar qualification
• 5 years experience working as a Logistics or Supply Chain Manager in a Production Environment (preferably JIT / JIS)
• Experience with new projects implementation or Green field
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
• Strong organization skills with attention to details
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Fluent language skills in English and Slovak is imperative, German is advantage
