As a member of EHS Team, the EHS Supervisor will be responsible to Environment Health and Safety of the plant. Based at Thailand-Eagle Ottawa Plant this full-time position will report to Plant Manager

 

Eagle Ottawa (EO)is the world's largest supplier of premium automotive leather. Since 1865, we've consistently demonstrated our passion for leather making – in skilled craftsmanship, unparalleled artistry and a focus on innovation. Eagle Ottawa Thailand (EOT) Finishing & Cutting plant construction has been newly completed in 2011, which is located in Rayong. There’re more than 600 employees in this plant.

 


The Role
Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Drive plant EHS business plan to achieves the EHS target.
  • Legal compliance for all safety, occupational health & Environmental requirements.
  • Safety directive inspection, communication, follow up and control our operation to comply 100%
  • EHS data entry and report any case of emergency on time and effective preventive plan implementation.
  • Maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 to get certificate as per validity period.
  • Conduct sustainability/ESG program activities.
  • Conduct Ergonomic Assessment and Kaizen.
  • Security control by Set up security rule and control guard man.
  • Coordinate and synergy work with EHS global.

 

Functional Job Activities

  • Implement all activities and program as plan setting, keep record and evident. Call meeting with Plant manager to follow up the result by monthly and take improvement for each objective are not achieve the target.
  • Follow up new legal for all safety, occupational health & Environmental requirements by monthly. Distribute legal concern to interested party and follow up the result.
  • Coordinate with management team and conduct safety audit by weekly. Also set up corrective and preventive action plan and report to management team.
  • Coordinate with management team and conduct safety committee meeting by monthly. And make minute of meeting with in seven days.
  • Control work permit system and conducted safety and environmental regulations training to contractor and keep record.
  • Conduct Safety/Energy suggestion activity 1 time / Year and do Summary result and follow up preventive and corrective action.
  • Coordinate and create Plant Ergo Committee at plant level. Support team to get training all related module of ergonomic and conduct 2 Ergo assessment per month &   Ergo improvement per quarter.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health and Safety Science with professional certificate.
  • Above 8-10 years working experience in Safety management for manufacturing plant.
  • Good in English for both speaking and writing.
  • Computer skill.
  • Hold ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 requirement and internal auditor certificate.
