Eagle Ottawa (EO)is the world's largest supplier of premium automotive leather. Since 1865, we've consistently demonstrated our passion for leather making – in skilled craftsmanship, unparalleled artistry and a focus on innovation. Eagle Ottawa Thailand (EOT) Finishing & Cutting plant construction has been newly completed in 2011, which is located in Rayong. There’re more than 600 employees in this plant.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for procurement of non-production materials, machines, equipment, and services in the best condition of price, quality, and timing to support production smoothly and meet company goals.
 

  • Analysis price & market intelligent benchmarking to understanding of the global market and determine a purchasing strategy.

  • Initiate and tracking the cost saving and work with cross functional team to meet the target.

  • Strong negotiation skills to minimize price increase and cost saving.

  • Understanding and analysis of risk management & ability to enhance sustainability.

  • Developing a purchasing strategy in regional/global level with regional/global purchasing team.

  • Drive operational for KPIs improvement and process optimization.

  • Sit in as translator for any supports need (supplier communication, negotiation, contracting, etc.).

  • Ability to build relationships with suppliers and international partners include to encourages innovation and flexibility to change.

  • Review, comment and coordinate with legal department to complete contract with supplier.

  • Launch support to PSO go-live.

  • Manage and support SOX report (vender report, inactive/active supplier, open PO report).

  • To consolidated PRs/POs and catalog concentration to optimize the high volume of (spot) PO transitions.

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.

  • 3-5 year’s experiences in non-Production purchasing preferably in Manufacturing environment.

  • Good communications in English.

  • Computer literacy – MS office.

  • Good negotiation skill.

  • Problem solving skill.

  • Analysis thinking skill.

  • Project management.

  • Presentation skill.

  • Ability to build relationship with stakeholders.
