Position overview:
As a production Supervisor, you will oversee supervising the activities of the
Isuzu lines to ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum
Key Responsibilities:
- Some other responsibilities would include
- Production planning and execution in line with scheduling demands of customer.
- Training of Assemblers
- Supervision of Cell Leaders and handling of internal grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Monitoring and controlling of all cost, quality, output, safety, absenteeism, etc.
- Interface with temporary employment services provider.
- Top 5 scrap/IPPM analysis and implementation of action plans.
- Line restructuring with demand fluctuations from customer.
- Monitoring output daily
- Continuous improvement.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics. A relevant tertiary qualification or studies towards a relevant tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous.
2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Experience gained in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
A working knowledge of SAP ERP system would be advantageous. General computer skills need to be above average. The ideal person would be honest, reliable, methodical and possess strong assertive skills.
