About the Pozzo d’Adda Plant
The Pozzo d’Adda facility, located near Milan, is a key Lear site in Italy, specializing in automotive seating systems. The plant is known for its strong focus on lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and safety, supporting major automotive customers across Europe.
Purpose of the Position
• Support plant managers in effective people management, with strong focus on blue-collar workforce.
• Collaborate in managing labor relations and addressing plant-level issues.
• Act as the first HR reference point for all employees, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and Italian labor law.
Key Responsibilities
Labor & Employee Relations
• Provide daily support to managers in people management activities, anticipating and resolving potential issues.
• Ensure proper use of time & attendance systems.
• Support employees with HR-related systems (Metasalute, Cometa, Welfare, GI).
• Supervise HR administrative processes, coordinating with the payroll provider.
• Ensure compliance with labor, health & safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations in cooperation with the HSE team.
• Monitor and evaluate temporary staff.
Union & Labor Relations
• Support daily dialogue with RSU (Rappresentanza Sindacale Unitaria) for plant-level labor matters.
• Participate in meetings, negotiations, and conflict-resolution activities in line with Italian labor law and corporate standards.
Training & Development
• Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employees’ skills.
• Partner with managers to identify development needs and career opportunities.
• Promote the Code of Conduct, Leadership Model, and Lear Values, acting as a role model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• University degree in Human Resources, Law, Economics, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of Italian labor law and industrial relations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build trust across all levels.
• Problem-solving mindset and organizational skills, with resilience in fast-paced contexts.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in Italian, with good knowledge of English.
Desirable Skills
• Previous experience in automotive or multinational manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Strong negotiation skills in the context of union relations.
