Reports to: Logistics Manager

Position Purpose

Support and strengthen the plant logistics organization by supervising planning activities and driving optimization initiatives. The role ensures efficient material flow, inventory control, and continuous improvement of logistics processes to support overall plant performance.


Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics planning activities (inbound, outbound, and internal flows).
• Ensure material availability aligned with production requirements.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels and stock accuracy.
• Analyze logistics KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, transport costs, stock discrepancies).
• Identify and implement logistics cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Improve transport planning and warehouse utilization.
• Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Suppliers.
• Act as backup to the Logistics Manager when required.


Requirements
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics planning within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement principles.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
