The C.I Manager's mission is to lead culture change by coaching and supporting department managers to achieve business goals. You will be responsible for clearly communicating Corporate C.I goals and objectives for the plant to achieve while leading the way to Lean excellence. You are an integral part of the senior management team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the plant team Direct & Indirect employees to drive a culture change of Continuous Improvement
  • All direct reports to have Lear induction and Phase 1 + Phase 2 Lean Training Q2
  • Deploy the OEB Assessment, prioritize improvement areas, support and mentor functional managers with improvements.
  • Using the 2024 corporate scoring system, implement and drive the improvement process with an adequate employee reward system
  • Develop and implement the plant C.I team so the corporate C.I strategy can be effectively deployed in 2022 with zero slippage in timing
  • Push for unrivaled for Quality / Leadership / Efficiency / Innovation within all of kaizen projects
  • Provide the forum to use Lean and 6 Sigma processes to drive process & quality improvements for customer top issues. Coach and mentor the teams on how to use the data to drive improvements and all improvements to be displayed.
  • Support plant function managers to improve the 2024 WOS & MOS KPI for Safety / People / Quality / Cost / Delivery / WOS / KPI
  • Minimum (2) Kaizen events per month. At least two kaizen each month's scorings over 6.55 on the 2024 Kaizen Evaluation Scoring method
  • Collaborates with Manufacturing Eng. for prj I4.0 implementation

 

Requirements:

 

  • Engineering degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
