The production planner must draft and monitor production plans, schedule processes to meet delivery schedules required by customers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Drafting of production plan, feasibility analysis, scheduling of delivery time with Production Manager; checking progress of orders and production plans of job order;
  • Evaluate the sustainability of customer requests based on the saturation and supply status of the required material by interfacing with customer service and procurement for any critical order fulfillment issues;
  • Optimize supplies of components and semi-finished products from contract suppliers and manage the delivery schedule of raw materials to be processed at these suppliers;
  • Participate in departmental production progress meetings;
  • In case of critical issues interface with production managers to define recovery plans and/or extraordinary production plans;
  • Interface with customers and all business functions involved in production processes;
  • Provide dates for delivery of goods to customers.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally with a focus on management;
• Experience of at least 2 years in similar work (preferably in companies in the automotive field);
• knowledge of work methodologies applied to production planning;
• Good knowledge of logistics and production flows;
• Knowledge of planning logic according to takt time;
• Knowledge of IT tools (MRP software, WMS, MES);
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel;
• Overview, analytical and synthesis skills are required;
• Goal orientation, problem solving, teamwork skills required.
