Manage all aspects related to supply quality for the Pozzo d'Adda plant in Italy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide information to the Incoming Inspection to monitor the suppliers/components with and without PPAP, according to the Control Plan and raise deviations and specific containments if needed
  • Ensure the management and maintenance of the measuring tools and the calibration according to the specific calibration requirements
  • Monitor the performance of the suppliers and collaborate with Central Quality (SQE) to facilitate the suppliers' development
  • Participate in the analysis of issues due to suppliers and organize the containment to guarantee the conformity of Production
  • Manage the Vendor List, create the Quality Notice and manage them in the internal system and charge back the related costs
  • Follow up the 8Ds and the improvement plans of the suppliers periodically visiting them if necessary
  • Manage the suppliers rejected components using the internal tools and with Logistics
  • Analysis of supplier process capability data and SPC and request action plans in case of any deviations
  • If delegated by Quality Manager, stop the production and the shipment to correct possible quality/environmental/safety issues due to supplying
  • Request CSL1-2-3 opening to the Supplier Quality Team in case of major issues on the components
  • Check that all the Safety and Industrial Accident-related norms and ensure application in the Laboratory area
  • Evaluate the members of his/her team, create the development plans after identifying the competence needs and double-check the results
  • Promote all possible actions for continuous improvement within his/her area
  • Support the IATF 16949 audit providing all the requested evidence
  • Support central supplier quality and APQP for analysis launch phase
  • Manage PPAP and APQP processes

 

Requirements:

 

  • A degree in a technical field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of: 8D, PFMEA, Control Plan
  • Knowledge of metrology and measuring systems
  • it is good to have knowledge of 3D machine and profile projector/optical measuring machine
  • Fluent in English
  • Problem solving experience
  • Teamwork
  • Good knowledge of the main industrial processes (machining, plastic injection, assembly, painting, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • It is nice to have the title of IATF Internal Auditor
